On Friday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Somalia, Ahmed Isse Awad, emphasized that his country rejects any proposals that may undermine the unity and integrity of its territory.
"We categorically oppose any actions aimed at the division of Somalia and the violation of its sovereignty," the minister stressed.
He also added that Somalia is focused on strengthening peaceful neighborhood policies and cooperation in the Eastern Africa region.
